Finance

Finance The Finance Department is responsible for all financial record keeping and reporting of all city monies, including record transactions, cash and resource management, bill payment, payroll processing, vendor and customer interaction and problem resolution. While most of the functions of the Finance Department are just what you would find in the accounting department of most any concern, there are state laws, a city charter as well as governmental generally accepted accounting principals which limit what a city can do and dictate how it must be done. This function is staffed by four people.
