Movie in the Park

Saturday, September 9, 2017, 6:00 PM at the Main City Park

Join us on Saturday, Setpember 9th at 6:00 PM in the Main City Park for our annual MOVIE IN THE PARK!  Pre-movie festivities include yard games, family fun, LOTS of prizes donated by our local businesses and Sno-Cones!  A very special showing of Beauty and the Beast will begin on the jumbo screen at dark.  Grab a chair, bring the whole family and come out and enjoy an evening of FREE entertainment!

Shin Dig on Shin Oak

4:00 PM-10:00 PM, SPAZMATICS hit the stage at 8:00 PM!

The SPAZMATICS return for the 2017 Shin Dig on Shin Oak!  All of the fun begins at 4:00 PM with yard games, giant inflatables, a special children's area, Touch-a-Truck, an exotic petting zoo and food and craft vendors.  The SPAZMATICS hit the stage at 8:00 PM.  The event is free for all and BYOB.  Don't miss out on this awesome annual Live Oak tradition.

Halloween Family Night

Tuesday, October 31st, 6:00 PM at the Fire Department

Our annual Halloween Family Night will take place Halloween Eve at the Fire Department.  FREE fun includes games, music, sno-cones, photo oportunities, giant inflatable games, and a costume contest for all ages.  The fun begins at 6:00 PM at the Fire Station (corner of Oak Terrace and Shin Oak).

Weatherization Assistance Program:

Available to all residents in the Metrocom area who meet income criteria.  Applications available at City Hall or by calling 210-362-5282.

The City of Live Oak is promoting the Weatherization Program for those of you who need help with energy conservation for your homes to lower your utility bills.

This program, at no cost to recipients, is funded by the federal government and managed by Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG).  You do not have to own your current residence to apply for this program.  You may apply even if you rent / lease your house or an apartment, as long as you have written authorization from your landlord and meet certain eligibility requirements.  Applications are reviewed in the order received by AACOG.

Priority given to those who meet income criteria and are 60 years of age or older, disabled, have children 3 and under, or CPS Energy Critical Care Participant.  You must live outside of San Antonio city limits.
