Memorial Day Parade & Rembemberance Walk
Saturday, May 27, 2017
10:00 AM (Parade)/9:45 AM (Walk)

The annual Memorial Day Parade will take place May 27th at 10:00 a.m., with the Remembrance Walk kicking off at 9:45 a.m. immediately before the parade. The city will provide flags at the start of the walk that can be dedicated to fallen loved ones, or carried in remembrance of heroes no longer with us. The flags will be carried for the duration of the walk and placed in front of the Clubhouse at the conclusion of the event, where they will remain for the Memorial Day weekend.  Families, businesses, church groups…anyone is welcome to participate in this meaningful tribute!  The Memorial Day parade route will travel down Forest Bluff, turn Left of Toepperwein, right onto Leafy Hollow, left onto Welcome Dr., right onto Old Spanish Trail and right onto Shin Oak. The parade will end at the Live Oak Clubhouse and sno-cones and music will be available at the Clubhouse after the event. Those interested in participating in the parade may contact Courtney Weese at 210-653-9140, ext. 235 or email at cweese@liveoaktx.net.
