Parks and Recreation Board Presents Volunteer Award

Parks and Recreation Board Presents Volunteer Award

During the November 28th City Council meeting, Mayor Mary M. Dennis, Council members and Parks and Recreation Board members awarded Mrs. Janita Woodall the Parks and Recreation Volunteer award. Ms. Woodall was chosen as the recipient of this award for her tireless efforts and countless volunteer hours during Parks and Recreation community events, EDC events, SOLO fundraisers and related events, Live Oak Humane Society sponsored events and so much more. Live Oak is a better place because of residents like Ms. Janita. Her spirit of volunteerism is a natural part of her life. Everything she does is with love and care and from her heart of gold. Congratulations and thank you Ms. Janita from all of us at the City of Live Oak.
