 Boards, Commissions, EDC
Have you ever considered volunteering to be on a board or commission? If so, view the following for a vacancy and provide the City Secretary with a completed application (follow the link) to be a part of the particular board or commission that has interested you.. The City Council will consider appointments to the boards and commissions with vacancies periodically at City Council meetings. Board, Commission and EDC meetings are normally held at City Hall, 8001 Shin Oak Drive.

Meetings are held the Thursday before the last Council meeting of the Month at 7:00 p.m.
5 Regular and 4 Alternate positions.

Meetings are conducted 3 times annually. 1 Humane Society Representative, 1 Council Representative, 1 Veterinarian Representative, 1 City Staff Representative.
4 Council Members, 3 Citizens, 2 Staff positions.
