Live Oak's Economic Development Corporation has challenged all Live Oak businesses to share their creative talents and seasonal spirit by participating in the 7th ANNUAL "Design a Scarecrow Contest" this October.
Your scarecrow should be designed to represent your business. Each design must include the business logo on the scarecrow and submitted to City Hall by the deadline of September 29th. Drop off Date is September 25th-29th. Each scarecrow received will be on display in front of the municipal complex on Shin Oak Drive from September 29th through October 31st. All entries will be judged by the EDC Directors on October 4th and the overall winner will be announced Monday, October 9th and will receive an award along with the honor of bragging rights! All entries may be picked up by November 1st to continue the spirit and adorn the fronts of your businesses for the remainder of the fall holiday season.
