Boards and Commissions

Qualifications for Appointment

The City of Live Oak utilizes the services of citizen volunteers to serve on all City Boards and Commissions. Boards and Commissions are integral component of the governance of the City, and therefore require the service of interested individuals who have a passion for service. The City of Live Oak’s Code of Ordinances establishes that persons who have resided in the City for at least twelve (12) months shall be considered for appointment to City boards and commissions unless otherwise provided in the Code.

How to Apply

In order to facilitate these volunteer services, the City has included a link to the application form for service on Board & Commissions. You may also contact us at info@liveoaktx.net for more information on how you can get involved. Your application will be kept in file for 6 months.
