Live Oak's Economic Development Corporation is challenging live oak businesses to share their creative talents and seasonal spirit by participating in the 8th annual "Scarecrow Invasion" this October.

• Your scarecrow should be designed to represent your business.
• Your scarecrow should include your business logo and submitted to City Hall after October 6th but no later than October 7th
• Drop off date is October 7th.
• Each scarecrow will be on display in front of the municipal complex on Shin Oak Drive from October 7th -31st.
• All entries will be judged on Tuesday, October 8th and the overall winner announced on Thursday, October 10th
• The winner will receive an award along with the honor of bragging rights!
• Entries may be picked up by November 1st to adorn the fronts of your businesses for the remainder of the holiday season.
