Municipal Pool

    Live Oak City Pool

LIVE OAK POOL CLOSED FOR THE 2023 SEASON

The Live Oak Swimming Pool is a big hit during those hot summer months here in Texas! Many residents enjoy spending a relaxing day soaking up the sun and cooling off in the six lane pool. We also have a baby wading pool that is two feet in depth, perfect for the younger children. The pool features durable shade canopies that keep the rays from beating down; one which covers the entire baby pool area and the other three on the surrounding pool deck. There are a limited number of lawn chairs spaced throughout the pool grounds, as well as tables for guests to enjoy. Vending machines are located on the property; however please feel free to bring your own food and beverages into the pool, with the exception of alcohol and glass containers. Being fully handicap accessible, including a wheel chair water lift for disabled patrons makes the Live Oak Pool a prime destination.

Children age 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older.

Daily pool admission is $3.00 for Live Oak residents, however a driver’s license (with current Live Oak address) must be presented as proof of residency. Admission for non-residents is $10.00. The Live Oak pool can only accept cash or personal checks, and no bills over $20.00 are accepted. The City of Live Oak offers individual pool passes for Live Oak residents only at a cost of $40.00 per person.

The City of Live Oak will not be offering swim lessons or private pool parties this summer. Please check back again for more information on summer 2023 opening dates and operating hours.

Families Incorporating Safe Habits- FISH Program

    Live Oak Pool

While at the pool, don’t forget to take advantage of the Life Jacket Loaner Program! Safety is a top priority for our guests and the City of Live Oak has taken extra measures to ensure that our patrons have a safe and enjoyable experience while visiting us. If your child needs assistance when swimming, the Live Oak Pool offers the complimentary use of a lifejacket. Please see a lifeguard for assistance and they will make sure your child is properly fitted and safe for the water.

    Spotlight On Staff

The City of Live Oak is fortunate to have such a great group of young adults that oversee the pool every summer, and assist with special events throughout the year. All of our employees are Red Cross Certified Lifeguards, and must be a minimum of 16 years old.
